An extraordinarily lovely fragrance. It is Aqua Di Gio without the spiciness but with the classic Bvlgari smoothness.

Aqva also reminds me a lot of Roberto Verino “VV Man” and “True Religion for Men”. However, I think Aqva is a richer, smoother fragrance than any of the above.

The notes pyramid shows orange and mandarin notes. They must be exceptionally blended because I cannot distinguish them or any other citrus type notes. Bvlgari Aqva, Aqua Di Gio, VV Man, and True Religion do have an essence that reminds me of cucumber and/or melon rind. That is not a criticism. It gives me a very fresh and clean sensation. It’s more subtle and not as “bright green” as cut grass. How should I describe this? It is more of a “dark green”, watery accord. If you’ve tried Halston “Unbound”, that is the essence I have in mind.

Thereafter, I find that Aqva progresses very quickly to extremely pleasant woods and patchouli perhaps with some of that classic Bvlgari Pour Homme white tea base. All the while, that “dark green”, watery essence is in the background. It is just marvelous.

Does it give me any sense of being on or near the water? A mountain lake perhaps but not on the ocean. I suppose it is difficult for me to associate woods with the ocean and I detect no marine/salty smell at all. For me, it’s like having melon rinds and/or cucumber on one side and warm woods on the other. So in that sense, there is an “earthy”, very fresh wateriness but nothing I would associate with the sea.

I’ve received frequent compliments when wearing Aqva. It is a fragrance that rewards the wearer for many hours. I never grow weary of it.

Longevity and projection are both good. I can tell this is a well made fragrance. I really love this and recommend it for anyone who wants a change from the regular aquatics.

In my opinion the original Boss in Motion is one of the best fragrances to come from the Boss line.

It opens with a sort of candy orange note which throughout the life of the fragrance never really disappears. I find the dry down to be very creamy. I don’t detect too much spice. Yes it is synthetic, but still very smooth and invigorating. Longevity and projection are both solid.

I agree with others this could be a unisex scent. On a confident dude it smells devilishly masculine and on the right lady it can smell edgy feminine. It’s all about persona.

This men’s scent is very elegant. It combines heaven and earth,a true voyage through various element.It includes a classic masculine trio: citrus, woods and musk. Main notes are: grapefruit, orange, flint, pepper, pink pepper, geranium leaves, patchouli, cedar, vetiver, and benzoin. It was created in 2006 by Jean-Claude Ellena.

The fragrance offer true perfumery splendor of mastery skills and is a real classy composition with modern appeal. Terre d’Hermes does have a sparkling nature that extremely scintillates.

There is wood & musk but what dominate is pepper (pink & black) with orange “citrus” and a clear hint of flint. I am impressed as what I thought prior to try is … “Black and Pink peppers with flint and benzoin notes may even crash a sensitive nose & senses”… but I was totally wrong. Terre d’Hermes is a composition that really makes you dwell in a deep refreshing aroma of Terre (earth).

Merely a formal wear for day time in summer specially.
